A. The RIU will support staff costs and overheads where organisations have to recoup such fees, and if the Concept Note is selected to proceed to the full proposal we will require evidence of the costing basis. In addition we will support essential travel, subsistence, equipment and communication costs and justification must be provided if you are selected to prepare a full proposal. Where staff costs are already covered by an organisation, the RIU will not duplicate staff fees but an overhead can be supported, providing the basis for the overhead can be justified. A figure in line with UK inflation (Retail Price Index) may be added to following years (2008/2009 and 2009/2010) to cover inflationary increases. Provision for project workshops will be supported but attendance and travel to national / international conferences will be provided through a separate fund which can be requested from RIU.
