pleazurgui, I am neither lazy nor unproductive, and I support the Canadian health care system. You will likely find that in Canada, unlike America, even the people who work 50+ hours per week (as I do during our busy season) are very happy to support those less fortunate through slightly higher taxes. As for your question, of course Americans don’t know more about Canada’s health care system than Canadians. That would be like me saying that I know more about the American health care system than an American, because I have seen news reports and watched the movie “Sicko”. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I have friends and relatives who work in the health care field, and I have also had close family members who have had very serious medical conditions, for which they received treatment in Canada. I have no horror stories and no complaints. Even with having a father who needed cancer treatment and a quadruple bypass surgery.
