Does the restriction on use of university computing resources for personal commercial purposes or personal financial or other gain restrict personal use of my OSUWeb.net account?
The OSUWeb.net service is offered to the OSU community for personal use on a cost-recovery basis with approval by state regulatory authorities. When a university community member subscribes to such a service and pays for the service personally or receives it as taxable compensation, there is no university restriction on personal use. Other provisions of the Responsible Use Policy do apply.
