Moonlighting privileges may be granted to residents at the PGY-3 and 4 levels who are in good standing in the program and have received permission to moonlight from the Program Director. Residents will only be granted privileges if they meet criteria specified by the Emergency Medicine Education Committee. Criteria includes, but is not limited to, demonstrated clinical and academic growth as a physician; completion of BLS, ACLS Provider, ATLS Provider, and PALS Provider courses and active pursuit of course requirements for PGY-3 and PGY-4 residents; adherence to academic and clinical attendance policy; timely submission of rotation logs and evaluations; and overall good standing in the training program. Privileges for moonlighting are reevaluated on a quarterly basis by the Program Director. Should the resident demonstrate an inability to meet residency program standards during the course of an evaluation period, the Program Director will suspend moonlighting privileges for a minimum o
