Does the Republican caucus have goals different from that of the governor?
Yes, I think the governor wanted a bigger bond package that we weren’t comfortable with. I think that reflected in that even the Democrats had concerns with the amount and where the funding was going, which hurt the plan initially. But we’ve really scaled back and looked at just the critical infrastructure needs and we’ve said we got to get away from the issues that really were thorns in the side in the negotiations. As frustrating as it was from the Republican side, all we wanted really if you’re going to have a water plan is to build water storage, to build a reservoir, and it was just a visceral reaction with the Democrats. How big an obstacle do you think the Prop. 42 angle on this is going to be toward getting something done?
