Does the Registry or the Directory Service give Quality Assurance?
Both the Registry and the Directory Service should offer a quality service, but they are only responsible for their own work. They do not provide quality assurance regarding the work of other account-holders. After all, banks will not guarantee the value of something you buy with a cheque. The Yellow Pages will not accept responsibility for traders who advertise with them. It’s not their business how you spend your money. They don’t guarantee that the bread is fresh or that the car won’t break down. That’s your job.
