PCM stands for Pulse Code Modulation which is a way of storing/transmitting digital audio information, so PCM 2.0 is telling you that you’re getting two channels of digital audio, i.e. stereo. The 2.0 description for stereo isn’t widely used except when it’s used in the context of other multi channel formats like 5.1 or 7.1. It’s really telling you that you’re getting two full frequency-range channels.
