No. They simply need to hold a bank account with a New Zealand financial institution and have an in-use mobile phone number. Funds are taken out of your account as soon as you make a mobile payment. However, please note the following: • If you’re making a payment to another ANZ goMoney customer, the payment is normally processed overnight.
