Does the recent advertised water shortage in Invermere affect Copper Point?
The water issue in Invermere is unique only to the District of Invermere. The Cottages at Copper Point is outside the District of Invermere and is in fact in the Regional District of Windermere – thus not reliant on the town for any of its utilities. Our water comes from the Kinbasket Water and Sewer Company and they can deliver more than enough water for our requirements and future requirements for other subdivisions.
