Does the Rebel XTi make an audible ticking sound when the sensor is vibrating?
As much as I know about this camera, im not completely sure I know what you are asking. The only noises this camera makes, or should make are listed below: • the beep when shutter is pressed halfway to initiate focus • the sound of the shutter flap after shutter pressed • the soulnd of the mirror slapping after shutter is pressed • and if you listen very closely you can hear the sensor for horizontal or vertical positioning move when you turn your camera sideways These should be the only sounds that the camera itself make. Now… if you are using an IS lens then you will most certainly notice a sound coming from the lens as your hand shakes while taking a picture.
