Yes, & Yes, with this adapter you can put it in random from the radio buttons. Also you steering wheel remote control buttons work just like they do on your radio. You can control your iPOD from them as well as your radio controls. Will my iPOD be locked out while connected to this interface? There is 2 modes of this interface. DICE mode & Simple mode. In Dice mode you will have Level #5 controls from your iPOD. Some iPOD’s are locked out in DICE mode, CLICK HERE to see how your iPOD will work in DICE mode. In Simple mode, you have basic control from your radio as well as full control from your iPOD. There is no Artist and Song info in either mode. Is this compatible with my iPOD?
