The coastal plan mapping relates to the Draft Queensland Coastal Plan package. The mapping is due to be updated with the commencement of the Queensland Coastal Plan. Additionally, the Queensland Coastal Plan includes provisions to make amendments to the maps. An amendment process will be included in the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995 for the coastal zone and coastal management district. Proposed amendments would be subject to further public consultation.
