Does the pump keep the pool walls and bottom clean?
No. With proper chemicals and filter cartridge replacement, the pump will keep the pool clean from suspended water particles. A pool vacuum should be used to clean the bottom of the pool. You can order the Intex pool vacuum to clean your pool however it will not pick up fine dust or sand that sinks to the bottom. Additionally the Intex Krystal™ Clean POOLWATER™ Saltwater System and maintenance kits will keep your pool clean from algae and bacteria. Depending on the local characteristics of your water condition, it may be desirable to add water softeners, clarifiers, or algaecides.
