Does the PTRip software work on Mac?
No. PTRip can only be used on a PC. However, you can rip the CDs using a PC and then copy the ripped MP3 files into a folder on your Mac and set iTunes to watch this folder for music. It will recognize the files there and import them into your database. Note: This process requires some advanced computer knowledge and possibly some networking knowledge. 6. Will PTRip rip mix CDs into my collection? No. An international online database called CDDB is used to identify the CD to be ripped. CDs not found in the CDDB database will be skipped. An on screen log is created to help identify which CDs are skipped. If multiple CDDB entries are found for a CD which would normally require you to choose the correct entry, PTRip will automatically choose the first entry on the list. 7.
