does the ps3 or xbox 360 playback x264 720p video files? You’ll need some 3rd party support. PS3 w/PS3 Media Server can play practically anything. And its free. I think the only choice on the 360 is Tversity(which you can also use with the PS3), but I find that PS3 MS is much better. Plays more file types than Tversity.
