I’ve had my 60GB PS3 since launch and I’ve never had such problems. However, lately I’ve been hearing some PS3 owners with either the 40GB or 80GB that have had issues with their PS3’s not reading discs and they had to send it to Sony. But like I said above, I’ve never had any issues what-so-ever with my 60GB PS3.
