Does the PRV-LX1 allow for source video to pass through to all the outputs of the recorder when not recording?
A36: No. The PRV-LX1 only allows video pass through when using the recorder’s Composite Video In/Out. To activate this feature, select the “Operation” feature from the Function menu. Select “Video Settings” then the “Composite Out” option. Set the “source monitor” option that allows for the video source to pass through the recorder’s Composite Video output when not recording video to the unit. This feature is very similar to EE. If the on-screen display is activated while recording with “Source Monitor” selected, the recorder automatically switches to the “Decoder Out” option (see page 31 of operating manual).
