The Enerkem process produces some inert materials (metals and minerals that are left over after the processing of materials). These are converted into an aggregate, which can be used as construction material. It is also possible to “vitrify” this aggregate or turn it into a glass. It is thus possible to divert all waste from the process from land-filling.
