Does the pressure washing contractor have any training or experience?
There is a quite a bit of pressure washing training courses and seminars available to pressure washers, but many rely on using too much pressure that causes thousands of dollars in damages! Are their prices incredibly low because they desperately need the work? Saving money is nice but when pressure washers bid a job low they may make up for your savings by cutting corners or giving a lower quality service. Can the pressure washer perform the service properly? If possible, have the contractor provide customer testimonials or give you a demonstration of their process. Is the contractor licensed? Many states require licensing for pressure washing and for sealing decks. Make sure your contractor has met all of your states legal requirements! Is the contractor insured? Many new contractors start up without having the proper insurance to protect your property.
