Does the powder form of mineral makeup give you the same coverage as a liquid foundation?
To be honest, it truly does depend on the mineral foundation and liquid foundation you are comparing. Several of the known mineral makeup companies give more of a sheer coverage; especially if you apply the MMU dry. For instance, Sheer Cover, id bareMinerals/BE and Mineral Essence give more of a sheer coverage and they will help soften the look of your flaws, but not really cover them with the MMU powder alone. You’ll need to appy a concealer first. Sheer Cover has a concealer that really covers well, but it really isn’t mineral…it’s more of a traditional concealer. Mineral Essence and BE both have more of a powder concealer or bisque that you’d use first. Mineral Essence I feel gives a nicer coverage than BE though. There are other companies that offer even better coverage with their Mineral Cosmetics. Lumiere is my favorite and I have a very easy time covering my ruddiness, freckles/sun spots, small scars, etc.. with just the mineral foundation alone. The coverage is more of an eas
