Does the postholder have to send his/her passport with the application?
Passports and police registration certificates (where applicable) for the person, along with those of their spouses/dependants, must be submitted with the Leave to Remain application. Applications cannot be considered without the passport(s). If the documents and details for any dependants are not provided with the work permit application, the dependants will need to submit a separate application for Leave to Remain and pay another charge. Where a person has more than one passport, both the passport on which they entered the UK, and their current passport should be forwarded.
