Yes. We encourage the practice of having a pet microchipped, and scan each animal brought into our shelter regardless if it is an owner surrender or a stray that is turned in by a member of the public. We also implant a microchip into animals prior to adoption, but do not as yet offer pet microchipping for the general public.
