Does the Port of Toledo handle container traffic?
A. Although there are no vessels that provide a regular container liner service to and from Toledo, or at any port on the Great Lakes, the Port of Toledos general cargo facility has experience in container handling. They have the equipment for loading and unloading containers and have successfully handled many containers as supplements to heavy lifts and project cargos. The Port Authority and our terminal operators will be happy to assist you in bringing your containerized freight to our Seaport.
