Yes, if the emeritus faculty member is on recall status. Emeritus faculty on recall status are required to comply with the policy. Faculty recalled for less than the full academic/fiscal year would be permitted to engage in outside activity for the equivalent of one day per week for the period of employment. For example, a faculty member recalled at 100% time for 2 quarters would be eligible for the equivalent of 1- day per week of compensated outside professional activity from the start of the first quarter through the end of the second quarter. For faculty recalled on a part-time basis, the 1-day per week would be pro-rated based on the percentage of the part-time appointment. 5.
