A new live scan fingerprinting service is now available for the general public. “FAST” — Fingerprint-based Applicant Services of Texas — is offered by the Texas Department of Public Safety through Identix Identification Services located at 5601 Bridge Street, Suite 353 in Fort Worth. To schedule an appointment, call toll-free at 1-800-377-2080. The police department provides fingerprinting services for the public Monday – Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 817-427-7000. For children, we provide parents with do-it-yourself fingerprint kits that are available on request. The police department does not currently provide identification cards for children.
