Does the Police Department have a car seat program?

Yes. If you are a Deerfield resident or a visiting family member and have small children staying with you that are required by law to be secured in a child safety seat we can provide you one at no cost. The car seats are available by calling 847-945-8636 and reserving them ahead of time as they are available on a first come, first serve basis. These safety seats are only available for a limited time when loaned to a resident and are not for children permanently staying in Deerfield. It is still your responsibility to purchase a child safety seat for your own children.
