Does the poem love is like a gobstopper have a rhyming scheme or any poetic techniques?
On reading this entry I would say that it leaned towards imagery than anything else. There is no obvious form to your poem though its meaning and imagery are quite clear. The result of placing the dreaded Gobstopper in you mouth during the night was to be expected, so I would leave out the last three lines. For those of us who are old enough to remember the Gobstopper only to well, we would not leave it in our mouth before going to sleep. As you have only asked what style this is written in then that is all I shall answer, though I would love to get my fingers typing to put it into some order.
