To get a prescription you can go to your family doctor, a nurse practitioner or your local health unit. The Perth District Health Unit has clinics where you can receive information on birth control options and obtain a prescription that best suits your needs. The Sexual Health Clinic at the Perth District Health Unit provides birth control pills at a reduced cost or at no cost for clients in financial need.
