Does the PHE offer opportunities to study abroad or pursue student internships?
It is strongly recommended that students in the PHE program take the opportunity to study abroad or experience an internship in a related field. Some of the Canadian and international studies opportunities available to students are the: American Studies Program in Washington D.C., Oxford Summer Program, UK., Netherlandic Studies Program, Latin America Studies Program, and the Laurentian Leadership Centre’s Certificate in Leadership and Applied Public Affairs in Ottawa, offered through Trinity Western University.
