Does the personal computer have enough Conventional Memory for Logicmaster 90 and its Communications driver?

0

Check the PLC Communications Serial Port Setup screen to see if the Logicmaster 90 Communications driver was installed. If the PLC Communications driver is not shown or you see the message “PLC Communications driver was not installed” on the start up screen, this indicates not enough conventional memory. The message System Software Error ID: 0000 EX: 0000 also indicates that LM90 ran out of memory performing some operation. The Logicmaster 90 software needs the correct amount of conventional memory in the 640K region to run properly. For older Logicmaster programs, an error of 0 may be displayed or the program may just hang. This is also an indication of not enough conventional memory. Note: It does not matter if your computer has large amounts of ram, such as 128 Meg. LM90 runs out of the 640K MS-DOS area.
