Does the PDF Library support “Web Ready” or “Linearised” PDFs?

Linearisation is Adobes method of constructing a PDF so that it appears to load faster in a Web browser. This is achieved by showing the first few pages of the document whilst the rest of the document is loaded in the background. The PDF Library and Report Generator can read Linearised PDFs, but cannot write them.
