No, there is no need to be admitted in the hospital. You would need to visit the Centre 3-5 times during the monitoring cycle. On the day of egg collection you would need to fast for 6 hours and come to the Centre, the procedure takes about half an hour. You can go home after the effect of anesthesia weans off which takes about 2-3 hours. You would need to visit again after 2-3 days for the embryo transfer. This again takes about half an hour and you are free to go home after one hour of rest.
