Does the Pasiphae work better with solid state or tube amplifiers?
Both the solid state and tube amps we’ve tried benefit greatly. The most important factors to consider are the output impedance of the source components and input impedance of the power amplifier. Ideally, output impedances should be as low a value as possible. With respect to input impedances, the higher the better. Tube amplifiers typically have a very high input impedance. Todays solid state amplifiers are also following the same trend.
