Does the Papa John’s Franchise System Dislike Lebron James?
My friend, The Franchise King, has been playing defense regarding the actions of a Papa John’s franchisee. At the last Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards playoff game, a Papa John’s franchisee from Washington, D.C. area took it upon themselves to make up t-shirts featuring Lebron James’ number with the word “crybaby” etched above it instead of his name. This could simply be seen as the actions of an over zealous fan, except for the fact that said t-shirts were also emblazoned with the Papa John’s logo. Do all Papa John’s franchisees think Lebron James is a crybaby? Does Papa John’s have a problem with Cleveland? Definitely not, Papa John’s did apologize for the erratic actions of the franchisee and they are donating $10,000 to the Cavaliers Youth Fund. They will be offering 23-cent large one-topping pizzas for pickup at all Cleveland locations. Meanwhile the Cavaliers won the series and now take on the Boston Celtics. Go Celtics!
