Yes. The Bavarian Belle is an authentic flat bottom Mississippi riverboat. Forward and reverse motion is generated entirely by the paddlewheel. The paddlewheel is turned by two high pressure, 2000-3000psi, hydraulic motors supplied by a diesel driven Sundstrand hydraulic pump.
