Does the number of branches or bookmobiles mean the ones that are currently open?
Other than directory information, this report should reflect the activity of the library during the local fiscal year that is being reported. If there were only ten branches open during the past year, but two will be opening in the near future, report only the ten that were open during the reporting period. Let the State Library know of names, addresses, etc. for any facilities that open or close after the reporting period has ended by sending the information to our office at Library Development Division, PO Box 12927, Austin, TX 78711-2927 or ld@tsl.state.tx.us. The most current information is updated weekly to the downloadable file available on the PLS (public library statistics) webpage that is available for anyone to use for mailing needs.
