Does the NSPCC Child Protection Research Department offer student placements?

0

• The Research Group offers research placements to postgraduate and undergraduate students interested in research connected with children. We have collaborative PhD studentships with the Economic and Social Research Council in partnership with a university and we have also offered both short-term and sandwich year placements to undergraduates. Placements must be for a minimum of 2 months and we are not able to offer “observation only” placements. We are not normally able to pay students a salary during placement, but we do supplement student grants as part of agreed collaborative ESRC studentships or during a ‘sandwich’ year course with a university. With all placements we will pay travel expenses and project expenses for the research that students carry out while with us.
