Does the NGK BPR5ES Spark Plug work in a 1997 Honda Civic Engine?
Although it fits several Honda generators, and can be used in several cars, no Honda automobile engine is on the list of compatible engines for that spark plug. For NGK spark plugs that are compatible with your car’s engine, I’d need to know which model (HX, CX, DX, Si, etc.) and which engine you have. You can, however, search the NGK spark plug database yourself for the appropriate spark plug for your model car on the NGK website here: http://www.ngk.com/ In the top left corner of the page under the heading “FIND YOUR PARTS” you’ll see a pulldown box that says “Vehicle Type.” Select automotive then put in your make, year, model, and engine and you’ll get back all the compatible plugs NGK makes for your car and the ability to buy them.
