Does the NF Consortium conduct trials for all kinds of neurofibromatosis?

0

Each form of neurofibromatosis poses specific needs and challenges, and in some cases requires involvement of patient recruitment sites different from those currently involved in the Consortium. Given the complexity in setting up a clinical trial, it was decided that it was important to get the Consortium established as quickly as possible by focusing on just one form of NF. Therefore, so far, the NF Consortium has focused on clinical trials for NF1, but the Consortium is working to expand its activities into other forms of neurofibromatosis.
