The Apella Media Server Family supports multiple formats and resolutions and is capable of DV and MPEG-2 compression up to 100Mb/s. The Apella LCS offers cost-effective analog and SDI I/O and supports up to 25Mb/s. The Apella SDS offers more channels and software features with SDI only I/O. The Apella HDS expands support for both SD and HD formats with compression up to 100 Mb/s with SDI only I/O. These servers can coexist in a NewsFlow environment using the same database and shared storage.
