Does the NEST meet local building regulations?
Local codes will vary, so every NEST installation requires a call to local planners and building inspectors. In most jurisdictions, tiny buildings like the NEST are exempt from building codes, especially when they do not have utility connections like water, sewer, gas, or electricity. In some jurisdictions, relocatable buildings like the NEST are excluded from building permit review because they do not have permanent foundations and can be easily removed.
