Does the N2O internal security system enable a site to restrict access to certain functions of N2O to certain users?
Yes. N2O provides detailed security profiles, which allow the site to restrict access to N2O itself and to each function within N2O. The security profiles permit the site to develop “groups” that have certain access privileges associated with them, and to assign the privileges of one or more such groups to a user. If the N2O interface to Treehouse Software’s SECURITRE product is activated, N2O will check all security with the site’s System Security Facility (i.e., RACF, ACF2, or TOP SECRET).
