No. The MX250 can connect to existing PBX systems using CAS or PRI links (T1 or E1). By doing so, the MX250 can appear as a peripheral to an existing PBX or the PBX can appear as a peripheral to the MX250. In either configuration the MX250 supports standard call routing to the secondary PBX.
