Does the music chart start afresh every week?
In the music charts for example if Robbie Williams sold 150,000 singles and they were the most singles sold in that week, then he would be at the top of the singles charts. If the following week he sold 200,000 and we was the only person to sell that many then he would remain number 1. But if he was out sold by lets say Pixie Lott who sold 170,000 singles and Robbie 150,000 then pixie would go to number one .
