Yes, on SGI platforms. Orthographic mode can now be used with the Multipipe Edition. However, orthographic mode will not be used if the MPU renderer is using a stereo configuration. In this case, AVS/Express will use perspective mode, irrespective of the state of the ortho/perspective button in the viewer. The .mpconfig allows separate wall definitions (ortho-wall) to be supplied for use with orthographic mode. If not supplied, the wall or projection settings in the .mpconfig file will be used. On PC clusters orthographic mode is not supported. The MUP renderer will render a perspective view no matter what state the parallel/perspective toggle is in the viewer.
