Yes, on SGI platforms. If you configure the .mpconfig file for dplex mode, all display pipes can operate in time-interleaved mode for higher frame rates. If you are running the Multipipe Edition on an Onyx2 machine, you may also configure the Onyx2 hardware for dplex mode. Otherwise a software-based image composition technique will be used.
