Does the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser contain harmful chemicals?

0

Mr. Clean contains a Formaldehyde-Melamine-Sodium Bisulfate Copolymer. Formaldehyde kills most bacteria, and so a solution of formaldehyde in water is commonly used as a disinfectant. The formaldehyde is used as a disinfectant in this case along with the melamine which is the physical cleaner. It will kill bacteria, disinfect and clean. Norwex Micro pad, contains Melamine resin only and the middle layer is Polyurethane foam (to hold it together). Our product will simply clean, not disinfect. Use our enviro cloths to remove the germs that may be left behind – there is no need for the formaldehyde. This is why we say ours is like the Mr. Clean Eraser but without any harmful chemicals. Remember this product is biodegradable so only wet a bit of the pad at a time to do your scrubbing; I cut my pad into quarters to save the pad. Do not wring, squeeze the pad to get the water out. Norwex Micro Pad is made in Ireland.
