Does the move to Active Directory include Macs, Linux and Virtual machines?
In order to provide connectivity to resources in AD, the AD desktop team will join your primary Windows machine to the domain or install a client on your Macintosh machine. A primary machine is one that is listed on the OIT inventory as the staff person’s main machine used for day-to-day business. Linux/UNIX machines, test machines, and secondary machines will not be included at this time. Virtual machines will be able to join Active Directory by request.
