Does the MotoPump get hot when it is running?

All air compressors become warm to some degree as they pump and build up air pressure. The MotoPump is no exception, but hot is a relative term. After a few minutes of running, the motor is warm, but not too warm to hold on to, and the head of the pump portion is hot, but not so hot as to burn your skin. I have taken my MotoPump’s temp after a full inflation, zero to 40 psi of a motorcycle tire, and it was about 135 degrees f, at the pump head. That is about like a drinkable cup of coffee.
