Does the Morphy Richards 47009 Mister Cappucino Espresso Maker with Frother make perculated coffee?
First off this will not make convetional coffee. This makes only espresso. All espresso machines are of the “drip” method. This is where the water is passed through the grounds from top to bottom via either gravity (conventional coffee machines) or pressure (espresso machines). Perculator machines use a vaccume method to pull the water up from the bottom of the pot to the top where it will pass through the basket filled with grounds. Some feel that one is vastley superior to the other (I can’t tell the difference). I think you must first determine if your parents want an espresso machine before your purchase. Do they drink espresso, lattes or capuccinos? Because this is what the machine you are looking at only will provide.
